Receiving / sending SMS linux console?

Hello. Is it possible to receive SMS messages through your number (not through a 3g modem) from the linux console. And what operators support such a method.

when you needed a zabbix with an SMS notification, you registered on sms.ru, and sent sms through their api, pretty convenient.
if you want to use the official websites of the operators, then it seems to me that there is a captcha there, and you won’t be able to send SMS from the console.
But how to accept if the SIM card is not in the computer? Or do you want to use the console on your phone?

How can you do this without a GSM modem? Is that the SMPP-channel with a cellular operator to raise. But with a GSM modem it will be easier. Connect to Linux, install Kannel and write a small script for MO (Mobile Originated) messages. True, the task is really strange, because. if you want this, you can get it in) Output can be put in /dev/console :-P
