What is the best way to focus on an object?

Hello. I have a voice track and a video track in After Effects. The voice describes the location of the houses in the game, but since there are a lot of them on the screen, you need to somehow highlight them. How can this be done nicely and clearly?
Red circle is the last option :) I was thinking of making the screen darker a little, except for the area with the house that is being described. But I don't know how to do it.
Please tell me the best option.
