How to export from Adobe XD to After Effects?

Can't export from Adobe XD to After Effects. I select the desired layer, click export to AE, AE opens automatically and nothing happens. It just opens AE without layers or any hint of export.

Problem solved by reinstalling XD. because the required plugin was missing.
