What is the best amount of memory for ssd - 1tb or 512gb?

What amount of memory is better for ssd - 1tb or 512gb?

I now have 1tb hdd, occupied where ~120-150 gigabytes)
Simply, it’s already gone to 3d + application development, web (xcode, atom, android studio)

Do I need 1tb for 3d or for video editing for example?

Editing is probably for me Adobe premiere
3d is Blender
Ps, Ai

Upd:
Editing is not so important for me, it's more of a rare occupation.
Important about the external drive.
I thought to take 512 GB and plus an external hard drive of 4 TB (hdd). But I think it will be inconvenient to constantly pump, what to do?

If there is an HDD, then you can take 512 SSD.
If there is no HDD, then it makes no sense to take less than a 1TB SSD

It is desirable to have enough space for installation. Since raw sources will be stored on the disk, which can take up a lot of space. Here I would also advise you to immediately think over a system of duplication of information.

Nobody bothers to put programs on the HDD. Yes, something will still be put on the system disk, but there will be, basically, user configs.
