What is taught in the direction "Management in technical systems"?

This year I will enter the university, but I can not decide on a specialty. In the future, I want to be engaged in programming electronics (microcontrollers, FPGAs, etc.), while I always dreamed of working with medical equipment or some kind of
scientific research apparatus. I am looking at the specialty "Management in technical systems", I plan to enter the MPEI as a part-time student (under certain circumstances I can only enter part-time).
As an alternative, I consider "Design and technology of electronic means" at the Moscow Aviation Institute. With the second one, it’s still more or less clear, but I still don’t understand what the first specialty is like, how it is better / worse.
Exams in two directions are different, so you need to decide as early as possible in order to know what to prepare for
