Do you think the teacher did the right thing?
I gave Mat. Analysis. The teacher first of all asked the derivative x^x. I couldn't find her. Tried to do through the definition of the derivative, could not. Then I looked at home and realized that it was necessary to present this degree as a logarithm. I can find almost all derivatives, said I can say the definition of the derivative, the definition of the limit. Basically, I wanted him to ask around. But he didn't, because I don't know the derivative of X_TO_DOWN_X. And this is how knowledge is now assessed in one of the universities in Moscow. Passed the exam in Informatics - got 4 (there the work was checked by several teachers).

Do not mind it. The main thing is to gain knowledge, and a crust. And to have fives everywhere - there will not be enough nerves, you will not please all the teachers.
And the teacher did the right thing. He asked - you could not, what other questions.
All right. In uni, no one talks to anyone. This is not a school. You don't know, get out.
It is necessary not only to know, but also to be able to apply knowledge. The reference book also "knows" the table of derivatives and definitions, but it is not worth giving him a diploma.
I'm sorry, but life isn't fair. As they say, the horse is dead - get off. Each teacher has his own vision and therefore, from his point of view, he is right. All estimates are extremely subjective, somewhere lucky, somewhere unlucky. Of course, this is very infuriating, but it’s better to really score and live on.
