What is more important in a monitor?

What is more important in a monitor: high color reproduction, but average contrast, or high contrast, but average color reproduction? Substantiate your opinion!
At the top we are talking about monitors with different matrices - in the first case about IPS, and in the second about MVA / PVA. The rest of the matrices do not differ.
I thought... What matrix would be better for a web developer?

It would be nice for a WEB developer to have a mediocre TN-Film at hand to see how it will all look like for mere mortals.
As a user of monitors with MVA / PVA matrices, I can say that it is enough for web development. There were no particular complaints about either the color rendition or the contrast. But sometimes it’s worth checking on average matrices, so as not to get upset later.
But if you are a designer, it is probably better to look towards IPS, although everything here is also subjective.
