This one spins all the time, and when the cable is disconnected, the HDD turns on hot, it already squeaks. It seems to me that this can negatively affect the health of the disk.

Tell me, please, does this really harm the disk? And advise how to choose a good separate box that can gently put the disc to sleep? Maybe this function has a name, and you can see it in the characteristics of the boxes? It is not advisable to offer branded HDD assemblies, because the disk is already available, full of data and boxing is needed to work with it. Although if there are no other options, you will have to do just that - buy a new disk and transfer everything to it.
