What happens to the preferences file?
When you turn on Illustrator'a gives a warning that the preferences file has been corrupted. Put different versions, did not help. Reinstalled, didn't help either. And so every time. All my settings, brushes, etc. fly off. Moreover, for some reason, all units of measurement are multiplied by 100 or 1000. It turns out that instead of 2 points - 2000 points!

Have you tried Adobe Clean Tool? Cleans everything related to adobe so that you can reinstall Illustrator on a clean (from adobe) system. If it does not help, then only reinstalling the system will save, probably.
