What happens if you make a transfer of a .com domain extended for 5 years?

There is a domain ****.com extended to 21 years (according to dig, the information matches the info of the seller's account) The question is what will happen if you transfer such a domain to another registrar. Will it last another year? or the date will be thrown off before the 18th year?

@ConroeTS

com domain will last for min(10 years from today; validity period before renewal + year)
i.e. if six months ago it was extended for 10 years and the period ends in 9.5, then after the transfer the period will be 10 years, not 10.5
if was 5.5 - will be 6.5

plus one year to the expiration date.
The domain validity period is not stored by the registrar, but by the zone owner. Therefore, it does not matter through which registrar you manage the domain - all domain settings are saved when moving. And if the ns of the domain server is yours, then the contents of the zone will not change. But if the ns of the domain server is the registrar, then yes, in a new place you will have to draw the zone again. more likely.
