What happens if you install RAM with a higher frequency than the motherboard and processor allow?
I have a motherboard, the RAM (DDR4) buses of which do not support a frequency of more than 32 Gb and 2133 MHz.
I want to install two sticks of 8GB of RAM but the clock speed of the RAM is 2666 MHz
. Will the RAM work, and what will be the result?
