I have 2x16GB because of the cooler, I can’t put 2i4 or 1i3 for dual-channel mode?

If I put them 1 and 2 (A Slot0 and Aslot 1 or 3 and 4 (B slot0 and B slot1) like this.
It may be harmful to the computer or it will not work.
I'm not so interested in performance, I just want to know for safety, will such a combination harm the computer or break it?
