What happened to the battery life of the MacBook Pro 2017?

Good afternoon,
The question arose of buying a new laptop to replace an outdated workhorse.
After monitoring the Internet, I came to the conclusion that among laptops from the upper price range, laptops from Apple are a reasonable choice (there are decent laptops from other manufacturers, such as Dell XPS 13, Thinkpad x1 Carbone etc., but there are confusing negative reviews and much more significant price drop on the secondary market than laptops "with an apple"). I found a lot of criticism on the network regarding the Macbook pro 2016, and the almost complete absence of reviews about the MBP 13 "2017 ... and then a couple of questions arose:
1) Is the new version of the laptop really that bad with autonomy? "in the fields" there is nowhere to plug the charger.
2) Does the version without a touchbar differ significantly from the version with a touchbar? (like an old emacs'er, I don't see the point in such whistles, I live quite normally on hot-keys)
3) What about the marriage of keyboards? According to the 2016 version, there are reviews that the buttons can fall out ... with ends O_O
Well, in a chain, if there is an owner of such a laptop, what can you say about it? And then the prices bite, and the available avaricious information is disappointing ...

I'm using a new MacBook Pro. Bought 3 months ago.
I don’t know why you decided that everything is bad with autonomy.
Working in Phpstorm with two open browsers with more than 20 clutches each, plus all sorts of messengers in the background, it lasts me at least 7 hours. This is at full display brightness.
If you watch films, then usually there is enough for three films in a row, i.e. about 5 hours.
About the touchbar. Versions with it have slightly better hardware - a processor, more usb ports.
but it takes some getting used to. like the keyboard. It took me about a month. The quality of the keyboard is good. nothing creaks, does not dangle. Key travel is really small. but it's just a matter of habit. and a bit noisy. By the way, this is a redesigned version compared to the keyboard in Macbook 12''
