Is it possible to run tails on macbook 2017?

Is it possible to fully run tails on a macbook 2017 with a touchbar and other things?
I read that if it is possible to start, then the keyboard and touchpad will not work, correct information?
Maybe someone started it?

When restarting the book, press and hold the Option ⌥ key immediately after the power-on chord sound.
A Startup manager will appear, where you can select a device, including, in theory, a USB flash drive.
