Can a scratch be sanded out?
There is a Macbook Air in an aluminum case. Is it possible to sand a scratch on it with sandpaper?
Reason suggests that it is possible, since it is metal, but I did not find confirmation on the Internet.
In addition, it seems to me that the sanded surface will be different from the standard. You can pick up the sandpaper grain to match the surface.

Obviously, “polishing a scratch” (by definition) is possible only by scratching everything around evenly to the same depth. If the scratch is deep, then it is impossible, therefore. If it is small enough, then not with sandpaper, but with some kind of grinding paste evenly, preferably with a grinder. Well, or first zero, and then paste.
A popular recipe for small scratches is to grind with toothpaste. But spetspasto, obviously, much better will do.
If the scratch is very deep, then it will probably be possible to putty it (I really don’t know what sticks to the metal well), and paint over the color of the surface (also the same number).
Cover the scratch with something (usually called putty) and then sand it with a zero or a piece of leather (goe paste, thick paper, etc., depending on the material).
it is impossible, from sandpaper it will only become more. Perhaps you can try to polish it, if it is small enough - goy paste, or other polishing agents. there are references that it worked apple-russia.livejournal.com/382258.html
