Macbook pro 2017 not seeing monitor via type-c?

Hello, I'm trying to connect a macbook pro 2017 to an lg-29UM69G monitor that has a built-in type-c connector. I'm trying to connect them using the type-c cable provided with the macbook, but the laptop does not see the monitor, but gets into the "charging" state, although in reality it does not even charge. Maybe the provided cable is not suitable, and you need to buy some kind of "special" one? The monitor works, everything is fine via HDMI, but as I understand it, because of HDMI, "font blurring" occurs.

@iznaur

with skis (which are 4/5k) it was that they did not wind up on an apple lace, but wound up on a lace from the monitor kit.
a the beech is not charging because this monitor is designed only for charging smart phones / tablets and produces only 7 watts.

So after all, there is no type-c included with this monitor! Tried with native type-c from macbook and with a third-party cable, did not take off through type-c
