What fingers do you use when using the touchpad?
Yes, the question is strange :) I just decided to try to give up the mouse.
I noticed that I control the cursor by driving on the touchpad not with the index finger, but with the middle one. I worked longer - the hand gets very tired :( Maybe the hand gets tired because it’s more correct to drive the touchpad with the index finger, and connect the middle one only for scrolling?
I understand that you can stop doing masochism and return to the mouse. But I wanted to know how others work?
Well, that is, which finger do you control the mouse with?

Previously controlled index. With the advent of multitouch, the middle one connected. Also, I have an interesting option turned on in synaptics, many friends spit, but this is because of a habit. In general, there is such a point. The accuracy drops quite a lot, but suddenly it stopped getting tired, and somehow it became funny to control the touchpad, without nerves, calmly. In the sense that earlier it was necessary to swipe the touchpad a hundred times in order to move the cursor to the other end, but now I drove over it faster, and the cursor travels 70% of the way by inertia, and there you can easily bring it to the required accuracy.
