Price drop for laptops after the release of Windows 8

Hi all.
My situation and question is the following.
I'm going to buy a laptop (so far the choice has fallen on the Samsung 350V5C model), but ... in view of recent events (the release of Windows 8), I have a question: is it expected (is it possible) to reduce prices for models with Windows 7?
If not in Russia, then I think, for example, in the United States, such a price reduction is quite real.
I asked today in one of the stores "World of Technology". They said that the price reduction is not expected, and "there is no reason to reduce prices."
Who will have an opinion on this?

PS Maybe someone uses the model that I already liked, how is it for you? (I read reviews on the market, but I want more information)

I want to buy a Samsung 350V 4 C, this is the same only without choosing a processor (A10, but not below) and 14 inches. This is the smallest laptop on the A10.
So I also think that by the new year the price will drop a lot. Because the market will be crammed with new laptops, the prices of which will most likely be specially lowered by MS, so that people buy despite the OS.
Well, due to the fact that everywhere there will be a new OS, sensory transformers, etc. demand for old laptops will fall - why do people take a non-touch laptop, if for the same price with a sensor and consider a tablet.
So I think I'll buy my laptop instead of 18k now, by the new year / after the new year. Somewhere over 15 thousand. As a result, there is enough for an external hard drive :)

I don't think we should expect a decline before February. Still, the new year is coming soon.
