What does ping show us?

Tell me, does ping show the time it takes for the client to exchange one packet with the server?
And how much, approximately, does one package weigh to contain all the data on 100 players?

yes, almost right. as a rule, ping shows the time during which, on average, the device that initiated the request receives a response from the addressee.
one packet containing all the data for a hundred players weighs about ninety times more than a packet containing all the data for one player. about how much the last one weighs, my crystal ball is silent.
