What do you recommend as a remote access to VNC?

Client and server on Windows, although I would like to connect remotely from Linux (but not necessary). Need a free solution. There are a lot of applications, who will advise what?

Is it via VNC?
If the server is on Windows, then RDP will be much more convenient. Client implementations on Linux are available and work fine.
If VNC, then I used VPN + TigerVNC
If the license suits, then TeamViewer

Machine. The best complex The free version can only be used by one user. And it will work great.

Why VNC on Windows? There is also a built-in remote desktop, much cooler than VNC. There are clients even on a smartphone, in Windows, of course, the client is built-in.

I am using uvnc server. Separately, a server with a repeater, all clients (with an installed service, or a launched client that shows id) with certain ids connect there and wait for a connection. I connect myself using a tweaked chunk wrapper, i.e. I just specify the desired id and get where I want (but a regular vnc client with the right command will do). In this case, you need an external address only on a server with a repeater, everything else goes through any nata. There is a minus that with a bad Internet, everything is very sad.
