What do you need to register before launching a startup?

I plan to launch the application in a while. The profit is expected to be small, but there may be many users. I also plan to contact various companies for cooperation.
The following questions arose:

  • Do I need to register the project name and logo? What is the best way to do this?
  • Do I need to register an individual entrepreneur / LLC? Is it possible to link the name and logo to the physical. face?

"Is it necessary or not necessary?" - it's up to you. If you are afraid that someone can steal the name and logo, then you need to register. If you're not afraid, then you don't need to.
You can register the project name and logo as a trademark. It is quite difficult to do it yourself (but possible). You need to fill out an application and submit it to FIPS. It is best to hire a patent attorney for these purposes, who will help you prepare an application, and at the same time conduct a preliminary examination (suddenly your logo is similar to the already registered one, in which case you will most likely be denied registration).
It will not be possible to "attach" to an individual. - The applicant can only be an individual entrepreneur or a legal entity.
Read the FAQ on the FIPS website, just in case.

Forget it, you will spend more money on registration (IP now you have to pay 28 thousand a year, even if you don’t earn anything + to banks for a current account). If there is really a lot of money, then you will register.

before the new year (in December) monitored the issue. The scheme from the Federal Law (the number is googled) is something like this:
1. If an individual earns up to 250 thousand rubles a year by illegal methods, then he will be forced to pay a fine of up to 5 thousand rubles (maybe if they can, they will force him to pay 13% of income , but hardly).
2. If more than 250 kilo rubles per nose, the fine is an order of magnitude more serious (I don’t remember the number);
I clarified this information with tax consultants who do bookkeeping for a bunch of individual entrepreneurs on an outsourced basis - everyone said that nobody needs me until I have enemies :)))
But! with the introduction of a new law on the mandatory use of cash registers and reporting, it is likely that something has changed not for the better - google it and unsubscribe if you have the opportunity - it will come in handy for everyone!
Regarding copyright ... One very intelligent person at a seminar on patent law told me that the easiest and most primitive way to protect your rights to an idea is to write a letter to yourself (the more detailed the better) and send it by registered Russian mail to your own address , but do not open the envelope, but put it until the moment when it (God forbid) comes in handy. But if it comes in handy, then at the trial you will hand it over to the judge (where the dates of sending and receiving will be written in Russian in white), most questions about the primacy of the idea will be removed automatically. Well, of course, if your idea/algorithm/trademark is categorically wrong... copy-pasted...

You need to start from the beginning and do not waste any extra money and time.
After the income is stable, you can register.
If I'm not mistaken, then 1 mil. in a year of profit, you can not even complain about anything.
If things don’t work out, then you’ll die to close + again the money has to be spent.
Copyright can seem to be simply issued to yourself, but it costs a lot.
From 20,000 - 50,000 for just one name/picture, etc. One position is shorter and this is for 2013.
+ monthly payment from 1000r to 50000r.
It is necessary to read, because there are many such rules and each has its own rate.

To open an individual entrepreneur / LLC, you need at least an annual income of 30k rubles, and be ready to give them away. Just like that, you definitely don’t need to register a company for CSV. In the meantime, you don’t have a normal income, nobody needs your logo and name for nothing.
