What do you hear about hacking ("hacking") TeamViewer accounts database?
I read yesterday the news on Habré, about a possible leak of passwords from TeamViewer accounts, checked the logs for entering computers from the contact list - I didn’t find anything suspicious, there are also no signs of other activity, such as paypal and amazon visits. Today I checked another computer from the contact list, found a suspicious connection in the log:
"777 <display name of my TV account> 02-06-2016 20:20:03 02-06-2016 20:20:16 User RemoteControl"
, but again, no traces of suspicious activity were found. Confuses the id of the device from which the login was made, can it consist of three digits? Or is it some kind of "beautiful" number, as once there were "four-digits", "five-digits" in ICQ? Or maybe it's just some kind of log bug? In general, what do you think?
PS the funny thing is that I didn’t store the password from this computer in my account (I remember it by heart), so I don’t understand how they could find out if my account was hacked.
