What do designers get asked in a technical interview?
I was invited to a technical interview for a WEB-designer vacancy in a large design studio.
Who has similar interview experience? How to prepare? What can they ask?

Get ready for the salary question. There are different points of view. One thing is for sure - you must strictly adhere to one of these points so as not to "float" with this question. And don't be cheap, you'll regret it.
I suspect that if the test task is passed and the result suits him, the technical interview will be formal. Perhaps it is simply provided by the company's procedures and HR follows the general rules. Perhaps some manager will simply come to look at you subjectively, who was not disturbed in the earlier stages - but the word "technical" for distraction.

+ ask to see portfolio
For a technician, it is important to have exactly the tools that the studio provides if you work in an office, since the same thing can be done in different ways and with the help of different tools.
Maybe all questions will be reduced to this.
They can ask anything, especially if the test task passed and was accepted - I was somehow asked in the forehead "Do you drink vodka ???"
So the best way to "prepare" is not to twitch beforehand. And just relax, calm down and look at least calm / confident, at the best time I would add "a little bored" but it depends on the time and the nameplate of the company.
