What tasks can Asterisk solve that cloud telephony services cannot?

If this is NOT a call center for a hundred places, but 1-3 operators.
1. Well, the timbre can be changed.
2. Cheaper, set VDS and that's it, you don't pay for each operator (150-500 rubles).
More complex routes/redirect logic?
What else?
Now you just need to integrate with the CRM system and read a lot of negative reviews on the issue of linking Asterisk with CRM.

Half of cloud telephony is an asterisk with additional goodies and technical support.
A clean Aster on your server - you install it yourself, configure it yourself, screw the buns yourself and support it.
Well, you can really mount any buns, and not just those that the vendor decided

This indicates problems in CRM, not in Asterisk.
Any cloud PBX is a limitation, in one form or another.
