Hello!, I have such a problem, I have a router and two computers, set up all the routing, calls from a computer (1) to a computer (2), in theory, to 2 more computers (3,4,5,6, ...) address) In the application, the size of the data transfer buffer is about 1024 * 64, but only 1024 * 2 data is transmitted at a time through the router, are there any routing devices that will satisfy the request of 1024 * 64 or more bytes at a time?

The bottom line is that in Ipv4 the maximum datagram size is 65kb. You can't physically fit more into it. From the outputs in my memory I see only the following
- Separate packages.
- If you use Ipv6, then there is a Jumbogram with a huge size.
- Use TCP instead of UDP, but there will be no multicast support.
Something is some kind of mess, here is routing, and packet size and application buffer.
What is the question? How to set up routing, create a huge package or choose equipment?
In general, there is the concept of fragmentation, when the packet is large, then the transmitting device can break it into several packets.
