What causes the DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error when opening GMail.com through Chrome browser?

When opening the gmail.com website through Chrome, the DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error sometimes occurs. At the same time, other sites open normally. The error appears every few days and lasts for several hours, then access to gmail appears by itself.
Chrome version is always the latest (auto-update). In other browsers, gmail opens without problems. Proxy settings for all browsers are automatic. What could be the problem?

Problem with DNS. Try to register public DNS from google in the network settings: 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4
