Font smoothing https://mail.google.com in Google Chrome
People, help, smoothing on gmail has been hurting my eyes for several days. On other Google services everything is fine. Has anyone come across? How to win?
The problem is only in Chrome. There are no extensions for gmail.
Checked both at home and on a work PC.

Yes, but it's not a blur.
Those areas that are “accelerated” on the gpu are rendered with grayscale anti-aliasing (as opposed to plain text with rgb anti-aliasing (cleartype)).
You can get rid of it only by turning off the flag. Of course, directwrite also solves the problem, but it doesn't look like it's coming to chrome any time soon, if at all. But it is used in FF4+ and IE9.
by the way, just now I was checking my mail and noticed that it was already gone ... apparently there was a bug
