What can you say about FIDO U2F Security Key?

Never used. It only costs about $30-50. I think to buy, try. Who uses? How is it? What and when is convenient? And what advice will there be in general, maybe something else similar and better to buy?

You can buy cheaper. As for the real security - it all depends on the manufacturer. According to the standard, everyone can do cryptographic stuffing as they want. it is better to buy a miniature format so that it does not stick out of the usb port. Because it can be kept always connected. It works\authorizes only when clicked.
Like everything else - for two-factor authentication - It's not User-friendly :) Each time you need to provide it to enter on a new device. But on the other hand, there is a good degree of protection - no one will get into your Gmail on another PC without a key. But if your laptop is stolen, there is still a chance that your Gmail will be read if you do not "log out" from all devices in gmail itself in time.
U2F May not work or malfunction on any platform or application. After all, this is a USB \NFC device, it does not require a special driver, but problems are very likely. For example, the poppy does not yet support it. in Android, you can’t connect the usb key either. It also cannot be used via Remote Desktop.
