Is it possible to connect a USB output from the m.2 (nvme) connector through some kind of adapter?

Guys, the client claims that the m.2 nvme connector is on the mat. board (any) you can connect usb through an adapter adapter, but I'm not sure if this is possible. Or I don't know something. Google can't say anything for sure.
Is there such an opportunity, and if so, can you link to a resource where you can read it?

The M2 Key M connector (usually used for nvme drives) is not physically connected to USB, only PCIe and/or SATA.
M2 Key B has USB 3.0, uses the same lanes as PCIe, needs support from the controller on the motherboard. In the search, adapters like this come across: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32847884230.html These are PCIe risers (extenders) that simply extend the lines through the USB connector. With a normal USB device, they most likely will not work.
M2 Key A and Key E have USB 2.0 lines. There is such an adapter: https://www.newegg.com/p/1BK-01CN-005X5 , requires external power.

Your client side is mixed up. You can connect an NVMe drive to USB via an adapter adapter .
