Connecting 2 monitors via USB TYPE C and HDMI ports. Is it possible to?

There are 2 HP 22f monitors with VGA and HDMI ports. And there is a laptop Lenovo Thinkpad E570, which contains 3 connectors for video transmission:
1. USB TYPE C
2. HDMI
3. VGA
If you connect 2 monitors using VGA and HDMI or USB TYPE C and VGA ports, both monitors work, but when you connect monitors through HDMI and USB TYPE C, one of the ports refuses to work. Why is this happening and can something be done about it?

Because the presence of an output does not mean the presence of an individual port for it on the video card. In your case, analog is assigned to VGA, and the second, digital, switches between HDMI and USB-C, according to what is used. What to do - buy an external USB video card, bearing in mind that it is very slow.
