What can change the web page I'm on, apart from the extension? Maybe something can filter all incoming traffic? And this "something" does not work on secure connections (https)

The router may be infected and an alternative dns registered on it on the proxy server.
Double check all the settings, if you have one, check the router first.
Ask your ISP what dns you should have.
In the network settings, specify forced dns 8.8.8.8 Make a
trace to the site and see if you go to the site through the same dns.
And if https does not work, I'm almost sure that you are sitting through a proxy server
