What can cause crackling when recording audio?
I write on a Samson Meteor microphone, complete with a digital noise reduction program. The quality for me is chic without any post-processing.
But suddenly something changed. When recording silence, crackles and the sound of crackling snow appeared.
I write videos on YouTube regularly. One day everything was fine, the next day these signs appeared.
Checked on another computer (Win 7) - writes perfectly. It's not the microphone.
I check in Audacity on my computer, (only sound recording) - the sound is perfect.
The artifact is already present in Bandicam and Camtasia.
Change and reinstall and disable tried everything that is possible.
On the ill-fated day (when the sound changed) I don’t remember changing anything.
Zoom has been updated. But I just took it down.
Carried a computer with a minimum of peripherals to another room. Sounds like a little better.
In the same place in the kitchen, I discovered that normalization was turned on in the player, which made the sound even worse. I found it, turned it off, it got better, I was delighted, I thought that was the trouble. But no, not only, all the same, the crack remained.
I give examples.
As he writes now .
As he writes now on another computer (good) .
I can give examples and long videos. How the record has changed is clearly audible.
What to do? What could be? I don't even know who to turn to!
