What are the text editors with the implementation of an individual approach to proofreading?

I help with the proofreading of texts to one novice author. With spelling, everything is clear (now I use MS Word and online services like Advego ), but how to create a set of rules that cover punctuation, word repetitions, parceling? Are there such editors with flexible settings, so as not to break the intonation, and to correct the most gross errors in automatic mode?
