What are the prospects in development for Windows Phone?

Good afternoon!
Is it worth it to develop for Windows Phone now? Is it really possible to make money on freelance doing mobile development only for this platform? I ask you to argue your point of view! Thank you very much in advance for your replies)

There are prospects, but hardly in freelancing when developing only for this platform. As I see it, the main area for developing on this platform is, first of all, business applications, although ordinary applications for the general public will also be in demand, especially with an increase in users, but again, you are unlikely to find many orders for it in freelancing.

On ios, android there is strong competition among applications. There is less competition on WinPhone. It makes sense to write applications and work "for yourself".

IMHO
Bad job. The platform is a dead end and will soon follow in the footsteps of Windows CE and Symbian.
Yes, and there is a feeling that the small-soft ones themselves do not know what they want.

Worth it, but not freelancing. The platform is developing, it’s very easy and convenient to write under it, but you simply won’t find orders on freelancing, mostly customers need applications for android, since the audience coverage is much larger.

Start to comprehend the creation of Universal Apps (Windows Phone + Windows Store apps), you see, something interesting will appear by the time Windows arrives.
