I would like to know the opinion of a person who is a developer in Business Intelligence.
I am an economist, accountant and auditor (CPA - Certified Public Accountant), but recently I want to retrain and start working in IT, so my eyes fall on BI, since time is lost to become a programmer and it is difficult to find practice due to harsh labor market conditions Yes and the sphere of BI is close to me, since the business world is familiar to me from the inside (financial reporting, planning, etc.).
I would be glad if someone share their opinion about this area: cons, pluses, prospects, the possibility of promotion, own business in this area, creative development, forecasts of how BI will develop in the future, and so on.
