What are the pros and cons of an officially refurbished iPad?

What are the pros and cons of an officially refurbished iPad? Someone says that it’s worse because it’s not new, someone says that it’s better because everything is assembled by hand, the main parts are replaced and also tested manually, does anyone have any experience of using it?

As far as I know, refurbished Apple products get a new case and battery, ie. look like new and have a full life of aging components. The matrix is replaced as needed. To repair laptops, monitors and monoblocks, refurbished motherboards and power supplies often came. The quality of the repair was very good. I myself use a refurbished iPhone3GS, my son has a MacBook Air. I don't see any reason to be negative. Good luck.
