Credit card payment in iphone app

Is it possible to embed payment (directly without paypal) with a credit (debit) card in the iphone application?

You can, but you will be banned =) Apple does not like it when payments go past them.

Apple doesn't like it. I just have a question, how did they miss the Privat24 application, where you can top up mobile phones with a card, pay for the Internet, etc.

Yes, we built it in.
If you are selling something tangible (in our case, it was bouquets of flowers), card payments can be embedded and Apple will not mind. If you are going to sell digital content, Apple may not miss it (in this case, only InApp Purchase).
You will need some kind of payment web interface, which should be shown in the UIWebView.
