What are the limitations of non-activated copies of windows server 2008 and 2012?
Good day. There is not the most serious question: what are the limitations of non-activated copies of windows server 2008 and 2012? As far as I remember - 2008 seemed to complete the work every hour or half an hour. Since 2012, I have been observing simply fantastic brakes at work when the license just ended.
Is there any answer to my question? I just don’t know who to sin on, on the OS or the data center.

In both 2008R2 and 2012R2, after 10 days of the trial period, the system only reminds you of the need for activation, after 180 days it reboots every hour (data center edition - every 2 hours).
Limits of evaluation versions:
* booting to Safe mode is not available
* The only updates that can be installed are security updates.
* When you log on to Windows, you are prompted with the following options Activate now or Ask me later.
* The system shuts down every hour.
