What are the cross-platform ways to write mobile applications that are not based on html5?

Up to this point, I've made cordova apps and web apps (both front-end and back-end). But I see that there are people who are willing to pay more for the development of native applications.
Are there any tools for developing applications in terms of quality at the level of native, but still cross-platform?
It is possible that there is for C ++ for example, qt seems to work with android. Or another language.
