What about monitor brightness?

ASUS monitor. At one point, when turned on cold, it became very dim, while there is light from the bottom of the screen. If the monitor works like this for an hour or two and then turn it off and immediately turn it on, it becomes normal. Brightness returns. What could be the problem? And is there a way to fix it?

There is obviously a problem with the backlight, and not with the tapes themselves, but with the control electronics (the tapes turn on after warming up). Most likely some capacitors are dead, and repairs will be inexpensive.
Take it to service. You are more likely to ruin it than fix it yourself.

Took the monitor apart to see how it works. The image itself is given normally, but the LED strip at the bottom of the monitor (I suspect it was made to set the brightness level) for some reason only shines in the middle, the left and right parts of the strip do not light up. Because of this, some kind of light is created from the bottom of the monitor (as if in the middle of the bottom someone is shining a flashlight on the monitor) and it seems that the rest of the monitor is dim
