What about goods?

There is a wide range of goods
Delivery and production is long.
There are no opportunities to buy for 100,000,000 rubles)
I drive small lots.
In general, the situation is this, in each category I have 100 products.
Displays 30 products per page.
there are times when the product ends and every second product I have is marked "Product is temporarily out of stock"
This mark is not inside the product, but directly on the product card, so as not to waste the user's time and he immediately saw in which product card he can not enter (is it correct at all?)
Having entered my site, he sees that 50% is not in stock and understands that the choice here is not so hot.
Deleting a product is not an option, it will have a bad effect on SEO.
What can you advise?
There is an idea to make a button in JS that hides all products that are not in stock, make it in a prominent place.
But then the pagination logic will be violated, on some page there will be 2 products, on some 10.
The goal is this: Save the product for the search engine, but not show it to the user.
Another option is to make an additional parameter in the URL /?isOutStock=true
But it's dangerous, because the search engine can only go to it and spit out pages.

is this correct at all?

In my opinion, it’s more logical to change the phrase “Temporarily out of stock” to something like “On order” or “Delivery within 2 weeks”, etc., and if it’s completely gone, then call it “Archive” so that the user can understand that theoretically the product they can bring it, but much later, many times later than the one that is available at the moment. So sometimes I buy goods from local local online stores, they post the goods, but when I call them it turns out that it will arrive only in a month - one and a half, I place an order with them, and I wait a month or a half, because I don’t urgently need it, and I perceive it quite normally, they have the opportunity to bring and resell, so let them bring it, it doesn’t matter to me, the main thing is to get the goods so that they deliver what is in the picture and that it matches the description "length" and "width", for the money that is indicated in the price, even if a little more expensive than I find on some foreign sites, so what, it’s not the point anymore, because it’s their job to collect interesting goods all in one place, in one online store, so that I did not "climb" the Internet and did not search individually, and provide logistics. And by writing "temporarily unavailable" the user immediately loses any desire to watch not only this one, but also other goods on the site if there is something missing. In fact, it must be indicated. Well, if not at all, and will not be, and I want to leave it as you say for over the Internet and did not search individually, and provide logistics. There is no need to hide anything, Google reacts very strongly to this, and far from being in favor of the developers.

And if you sort the products so that the inactive ones are at the end? This is what many online stores do.

Yes, do not look at these questions through the eyes of the PS! Look from the point of view of a potential visitor. How would you react to the status "out of stock"? That's right - they would have gone to look for where they are. What could be holding you back? Do you understand?
And how will it be with t.z. SEO is another matter, and by the way, the priority for the PS here will be precisely the behavioral factor, and not how it is technically implemented there.
A refusal is a refusal, and it is more important for the PS, even though everything is perfectly licked there according to the recommendations.
Think about people first of all, and everything will be fine.

Just sort so they are at the end.
