Website support cost?

I wondered how much the cost of maintaining the site for clients is for fellow developers? Approximately as a percentage of the cost of the project? 5...10...30...50...100% per year of the development cost?

The support package includes a full range of services, from performance monitoring to finalization of design and functionality. The number of hours is of course limited, for example 40 hours per month (approximately 1 calendar week).

Usually, the price of project development and the price of support can differ significantly, and in both directions =)
If it’s a full complex, then I don’t think that they will undertake to do it for less than 100% of the cost of a specific developer’s man-hour, (!!!) and not the cost of the project. If Vasya Pupkin makes a project for 100 rubles, Lebedev will not support it for 100 rubles either. So be guided by the prices of those who will support.

How can you calculate the cost of support as a percentage of the cost of the project?
And what exactly do you mean by support? If refinement / functional expansion, then I consider customer support very simple: I indicate the cost of an hour for a programmer, layout designer, designer, etc. I indicate the minimum package of hours per month (let's say at least five) to guarantee efficiency. And then I sell watches in packages. The more watches you buy, the cheaper it is. And the volume of each task is considered individually, of course.
If you mean those support (hosting, etc.), then I again prepare service packages. For example, basic support (hosting + domain + site monitoring - one amount), extended support (basic services + attendance analytics + daily backups), etc. Again, in each service package, you can convert into man-hours and calculate the cost.
Did I understand your question correctly? Is my answer clear?

What prevents you from calculating the cost of an hour at the development stage, and multiplying this figure by the number of hours for support?

Do not confuse support and site development. If the first one can somehow be predicted, then the second depends only on the customer's imagination.
Purely support - monitoring, planned and operational work usually takes much less than a week a month, but sometimes more, but rarely, unless they saved a lot during the development process. 40 hours a month is more like an upper limit.

I try to reduce almost any price to the number of hours spent on the job multiplied by the cost of the hour + 30% for food.
