Web design tutorials (Photoshop, Illustrator)?
I successfully work on the frontend (layout, scripting), but there was an urgent need to catch up in web design. Recommend good tutorials, useful links, screencasts that will help develop web interface drawing skills.
PS
I'm friends with Photoshop, and I even try to draw something, but the layouts turn out to be insipid, well, very simple.

Maybe the trouble is with fantasy, and not with knowledge of the instrument? Often there are cool designs, despite the fact that the complexity is at the elementary school level.
There are several screencasts from tutsplus. But, I must say, it's all about the number of drawn layouts or invented interfaces. The more you draw, the more diverse, more and faster cool designs will come to your head.
Personally, the more I did my projects, the more interesting and beautiful interface solutions came into my head.
I'm all to the point that there is no standard approach or scheme of action. It all depends on subjective imagination and personal taste preferences.
For example, I like minimalism. He is beautiful. The easier and faster a person understands without unnecessary visual noise what needs to be done, the better. I do not like overloaded and unusable, with superfluous, non-functional elements, interfaces. Someone else is the opposite.
