VPN and router. How to setup?
Hello.
Recently, there was an acute desire to buy a VPN for yourself and increase the security level of your devices (well, the accompanying advantages such as anonymity, etc.).
There is an idea to provide this immediately for all your home devices that use Wifi.
There is a Dlink Dir-320 router.
The questions are:
1) Is it possible to implement the idea with this router?
2) If so, what would it look like? The router is configured in DHCP mode (as ordered by the provider). It turns out logically it will be like this: the provider knows all my network data, but the Internet as such is no longer there, because. I am for VPN for him, but on the other hand, the provider cannot receive my traffic in any way due to encryption. Do I understand the mechanism correctly?
I have never been fond of networks, so I apologize if the questions are stupid.
Thank you.

If you want this provider and this router, then just dlink to dd-wrt (for example, it says www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/%D0%9F%D1%80%D0%BE%D.. .and here is how to configure dd-wrt for the selected service https://proxy.sh/panel/knowledgebase/26/Other-OSes
1) you can (pptp), but it’s better to take something better
2) if you are behind a tunnel, the Internet does not need to know you, it just needs a server
