1.5 g., in general, this does not mean anything. The bar can lie on a store shelf for 2 years, it can stand in the computer at "Grandma watched the weather every morning", or it can stand in a bitcoin farm / server and be vyyuzan in 0.
But in general, if you did not participate in critical modes, overclocking, then take can. Naturally, it is desirable to drive memtest if possible.

Models from the mass production segment of Samsung and Hynix can be safely taken, with the rest it is a little more difficult.
But in any case, it is worth running the memory with memtest immediately after purchase, a few cycles will be enough to make sure that there are no problems. And they happen not only with a broken memory, but also a completely suitable one can fail on certain sets of percent + mother. Therefore, agree on a few days for tests with the possibility of a return.

Memory usually does not break (if it has not been overheated).
Therefore, if it works at the time of purchase, it will most likely work like that.
I don’t know how modern ddr4 memory is, but the old memory was just eternal, if you take sdram or simm which are 20 years old, they will work as if they were made yesterday.
