How to make a power button for mat. fees?

Hey!
I decided to make a case for a home server from an aluminum corner, it became necessary to make a power button. There is a wire with a terminal, i.e. you can just buy a button that closes the circuit at the moment it is pressed, and everything will work? Is it possible to spoil the mat with such a button. fee?

Everything should work, the power button in the ATX standard simply closes the contacts without fixing, giving a power-on signal (PWR_ON, active level is low, < 0.8V).

And who will tell you the standard distance between the pins of the connector?
What outlet should you buy? 2.5?
