USB Type C to HDMI adapter how to make the monitor work?

There is a laptop HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec2000ua, it has a type-c output. Purchased XoKo AC-400 Type-C to HDMI+USB 3.0+USB 2.0+Micro USB adapter. When it is connected, the USB ports work, but there is no reaction to connecting the monitor via HDMI. Can someone tell me which way to dig?

• Port does not support displayport-over-usb-c
