USB sound card for recording

The task is simple - you need to record audio tracks (just a voice).
Recommend an external sound card with minimal noise for recording. You can even pair it with a microphone ;)
And it is also very desirable to have drivers for Linux.

In principle, you can take something from M-Audio - Audiophile USB, FastTrack, FastTrack Pro.
Or look for Creative Extigy.
Here the red-eyed people are tricking something with Linux:

Creative E-MU 0202 is also okay, and not expensive. Yuzayu for several years, while alive.
