Url listener (not hash). How to solve without pushState\popstate?

Is there some kind of event\lisaner\observer that allows you to detect any url changes .. and not just win.loc.hash, because loc.pathname changes (but preferably window.location).

And\Or: during VK transitions (music->dialogs->"inside dialog (classic interface)"), how to trigger the loading (loading) of a new window \ html code? (I write the extension)
