upwork. Isn't it dangerous to immediately change the level from Entry to Intermediate level?

Good afternoon! Yesterday I signed up for Upwork.com. Specified skills (php, mysql, wordpress, joomla, drupal, web hosting, unix shell, cpanel, virus removal). For every fireman, I set myself an Entry level. And now it turned out that in the tasks that I have been successfully picking for a year on Russian freelancing like "Fix a php bug after upgrading php from 5.1 to 5.4" - clients want a freelancer with an Intermediate level (which I most likely have just objectively).
Isn't it dangerous now to take and edit the level in the profile, change from Entry to Intermediate? Will there be sanctions from the administration of the exchange?

Most likely, how you evaluate yourself, that level is more objective to expose. Change every week. It is only customers who will analyze and decide whether to contact you or not.
If you cope with certain difficulties in solving problems, then set this level.

What do you think could be the danger? What sanctions?
You can set a rate of at least $100 per hour and Expert, the only question is whether you will get orders with it.

Dangerously.
The level affects the Upwork algorithms that determine which freelancer to show to which client. Every change is tracked by Upwork. If the specified level of professionalism does not correspond to the specified level of education and work experience, your profile will be added to the list of doubtful ones.
And getting the profile into the list of doubtful ones will lead to the fact that
- they can make changes to it
- they can temporarily block the possibility of concluding new contracts (and the visibility of the profile in the search)
- they may be required to prove documented that you really have the specified education and experience
For example, if your education is not in your specialty, and work experience is not indicated, and you set Intermediate, the blocking will not be guaranteed, but I will say that I have not seen it done without it (this innovation appeared after the transformation of oDesk into Upwork)
